Windows HCT (Hardware Compatibility Tests) is a legacy Microsoft test suite used by hardware manufacturers and driver developers to validate devices, systems, and drivers for compatibility with earlier versions of Windows, including Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. It provides a collection of automated and manual tests that assess functionality, reliability, stress, Plug and Play, power management, and driver model compliance. Successful runs generate logs and a submission package for Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certification and optional driver signing under the Windows Logo Program.

Windows HCT has been superseded by newer tools for later operating systems: the Windows Logo Kit (WLK), the Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK), and the Windows Hardware Lab Kit (HLK).

Windows HCT is developed by Microsoft. The most popular version of this product among our users is 12.1. The name of the program executable file is testmgr.exe.

You can check Folder Size for Windows, Windows Firewall Control, Windows Password Recovery and other related programs like PdaNet for Windows Mobile at the "download" section.
